Matts® standard mainland UK delivery service

For orders placed online, most deliveries to a mainland UK address is £4.99 to the same address. Some heavier items carry a charge of £9.99 (please see shopping cart before proceeding). No single order will carry a charge of more than £9.99.

We aim to deliver all goods within 7 days, though as shown by our achieved despatch speed, delivery times are generally much faster. We guarantee to deliver all orders within 28 days of order. If we are unable to deliver within 28 days we will only proceed with an order with your agreement.

We are happy to deliver to any Mainland UK address. For certain products we are also able to deliver to the Scottish Islands, Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly and Northern Ireland - please call 0800 007 3030 to check, and we will arrange carriage on request (an additional surcharge may apply). To ensure that our couriers can deliver, the delivery address should be a full address including postcode. If you are out, the courier will leave a calling card at your home. You can then telephone the local depot and either re-arrange the delivery or collect yourself from the depot, within 10 working days of the first delivery. After 7 working days the parcel will be returned to our warehouse and our customer services team will contact you. Please note that goods "left safe" upon customer's instructions are left at the customer's own risk.

Matts® Delivery procedure

The majority of goods are shipped from our central warehouse; a few products are shipped from other locations and in these cases you may receive more than one delivery. IMPORTANT: When signing for the delivery, if there is any damage to the box at all please sign for as "damaged" or do not accept the delivery. All items damaged in transit must be notified to us by calling 0800 007 3030 or sending an email to customer@matts.biz within 48 hours of delivery. Failure to do this may result in the item not being replaced.

Cancellation policy

If you change your mind about anything you order, you can cancel that order free of charge so long as you do so within 14 working days of receipt of goods. You do not have to provide any reason for cancellation. Goods may be on their way to you. We will cancel any such order without charging you, with the exception that we reserve the right to make a charge for the return of the goods when necessary. In the event of cancellation we guarantee to refund your money within 30 days.

Our return policy

Should you require any further information regarding return of your goods please email customer@matts.biz You can return any item to Matts® Garden Shop within 14 days of receipt for a full refund (the selling price) or exchange as long as the item is returned in the original packaging and in the condition in which it was sold.

The condition and safe return of the goods will remain the customer’s responsibility until they reach our warehouse. For this reason we recommend you use a postal service that insures you for the value of goods being returned.
